Linda is a fishing instructor for Casting for Recovery MN/WI and has organized and taught many workshops geared towards women and girls wanting to learn to fly fish.
Carrie Cremin
Instructor
As a Wisconsin native, Carrie has explored the State's waters for nearly two decades though her first wading experience was in Wyoming where her family camped in the summers. Her love for fly fishing is nicely matched by her passion for continuous learning. Fly fishing is also Carrie's gateway excuse to escape daily work in the medical field. Besides the personal joy of this sport, Carrie loves helping others experience fly fishing for the first time.
Kristian Koenig
Instructor
Kristian discovered his love for fly fishing while working one summer in the Colorado Rockies. The experience led him to start guiding out of Estes Park, CO. He now spends his time exploring Wisconsin rivers in pursuit of trout, smallmouth and musky - that is, when he’s not teaching the next generation of kids in the classroom. Kristian is excited to be joining Margo+Lola
so he can use his patience, knowledge, and passion to teach all who have a curiosity to learn.Derrick Hanson

Derrick is a life long angler who cast his first fly rod over fifteen years ago. Since then he has become an avid fly angler and tyer. While he loves fishing big Western rivers and the abundance of lakes in the area, his true passion is fishing for trout on the many streams across the WI/MN Driftless region. Derrick loves sharing his passion for fishing and is a patient teacher– a skill perfected over innumerable fishing adventures with his wife and two young daughters
Brian Vander Maazen
Instructor
Brian ("Maze") has been fly fishing in the Wisconsin Driftless for over 15 years. He has a passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge about fly fishing for trout, smallmouth bass and musky. Brian is a "smallmouth bass and musky nut" and has guided countless numbers of anglers on the St Croix River for a few years before deciding to join the School. And after the trout season is coming to a close, Brian chases his pack of pointing dogs for ruffed grouse.
Doug Stubbe
Instructor
Doug was introduced to fly fishing for smallmouth bass on the Namekagon River as part of a Vets On The River program when he returned from deployment to Iraq. Since retiring from the US Army, Doug has pursued flyfishing (and flytying) for smallmouth, trout and an occassional musky. His deeper passion however, is introducing fellow Veterans to flyfishing and a connection to the river. Doug was otherwise an early guest at the School and is excited to bring others to the joy of flyfishing.
